Dr. Susan Nguyen’s fascination with science at an early age, coupled with her desire to work with people, led to her calling in medicine. She attended Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, for her undergraduate studies; completed medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University; and trained in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
As a general otolaryngologist, Dr. Nguyen enjoys all aspects of otolaryngology and particularly likes working with the youngest patients. She is committed to building solid, long-lasting relationships with her patients, and believes a visit to the doctor should alleviate anxiety and answer questions.
Dr. Nguyen is a native of the Pacific Northwest and grew up in Portland, Oregon. Outside the office, you might find her chasing after her dog, Wilbur, and overwatering her house plants. She also enjoys gardening with her black thumbs, pottery and spending time with family and friends trying out new recipes but mainly burning food.
